Dr. Shauna H. Gammage, DDS
Dentist, Owner & Founder of Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Decatur
Dr. Shauna Gammage prides herself on providing quality, gentle dental care in a relaxed, family-oriented environment. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver, Colorado. Afterwards, Dr. Gammage completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Tucson and Casa Grande, Arizona.
Dr. Gammage is the founder and owner of Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Decatur and has been practicing general dentistry since 1998. She is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, North Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Gammage focuses on you, the patient, and is known to cater to those with dental anxiety by offering Nitrous Oxide (also known as laughing gas). She will go out of her way to make sure you are comfortable.
Dr. Leah Asher, DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Leah Asher passion for dentistry and it shows in the way she treats her patients. She makes every effort to thoroughly explain her diagnosis to her patients. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Georgia and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Georgia Medical College, Dr. Asher brings extensive knowledge and expertise to our practice. She finds joy in the little changes that make a big difference to her patients, allowing them to smile confidently and feel less self-conscious. Dr. Asher loves the hands-on aspect of dentistry and the flexibility it allows to spend time with family.
Dr. Jamila J. Jenkins , DDS
From falling in love with dentistry during her teen years and working in our dental office as a patient coordinator and dental assistant, Dr. Jenkins has come full circle! With a Bachelor's in Psychology from The University of Georgia, a Doctorate from The University of Colorado, and a General Dental Practice Residency Certification from University of Alabama at Birmingham, she's back and providing a variety of services including oral sedation and laughing gas for anxious patients.
